Advanced Page Break script

I'm looking for an advanced version of the Page Break script. What I'd like it to do is to enable a drop-down menu with the titles of each page in a multi-page article in the drop-down, allowing direct selection of the desired page. So if you had pages for Introduction, Features, Usability, Specification and Conclusion, for instance, the user could navigate direct to the desired page from the drop-down. Presumably, therefore, the page titles could be embedded in the article text along with the page break tag. Has anyone seen anything like this?

Hi Saracen, Thanks for your post. :) That would be a very neat little script -- let us know if you manage to get that up and working, I'd love to see it. :) Donna

They use this exact feature in the FCKeditor. It's really cool I tried it. but you can't see it in the online demo so you have to download it and try it. for the FCKeditor you can get it at: http://www.fckeditor.net unfortunately, I'm no programmer to figure out how to make it an add-on . I hope there is someone who can do it for us, we will appreciate it and it will be handy. Thanks,

Hi Mekaeel Thanks for posting that link! FCKeditor looks like an interesting piece of software. Quite a few of the functions are very similar to those found in htmlArea. If you’d like to see this sort of feature in htmlArea, you could post this to the htmlArea forum as well. That way the community can take a look a see what can be done about adding to htmlArea as well. If you have anymore examples please let me know . ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Ross Fairbairn - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
