[SUGGESTION #2] adding archives to advanced search

as an administrator, I can go into setup and archive articles from a range of a certain date into an already present archive name, or into a new archive title. for instance, as a newspaper, each archive is titled by the newspaper issue (corresponding to the printed issue number). A lot of our users use many of the articles as a resource for some kind of research. When they want to locate a certain article off of a known issue number (but dont know the issue date), it becomes very problematic for them. Id like to see AM get a boost up in its archiving feature to allow users to: A) submit a search query using the normal search menthods B) submit a list articles query by issue number (archives title) Thanks! :) Cheers! Hi halkibsi! Thanks for your post. :) I'll definitely add your suggestions to our list of feature requests. Thanks for your idea! One thing to keep in mind is that you can already search the archivies, you just need to specify which archive you want to search. Take a look at the default advanced search page, as it's already setup to take the archives into account. I hope this helps. :) Donna
