formmail setup Can't Post

ok i got formmail setup and when someone fills out the form for my newsletter at : http://www.webnetincome.com i get the correct info sent to me.. The problem is that the info is in the message area of the e-mail... With this set up no one gets back a message from my autoresponder. In the from field of the e-mails i get from the form is From: unknown sender It is being sent by formmail. Am i setting up wrong or is code wrong? Im thinking code somewhere. My autoresponder will not get the person's name or e-mail the way it is sent to me. My autoresponder just sends me a error message.
Thanks

Hi Glenn,

Thanks for posting and welcome to the forum!

I've taken a look at your code, but I can't seem to pick out that error. Perhaps these links may be useful for you:

Re: [Cliff] formmail setup [In reply to] Can't Post

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh,Thannnnnnnnk you, MMMMMMMissster Stefanuk, I went to both sites. The bottom was in more my language. http://unix.cshore.com/form.html
It is Fixed now!!!!!!!

I have ranted, raved, cussed, started to throw puter out the window, been working on code for days. I cant believe what a simple fix it was. Fix below.

I must explain my situation first. I am a newbie, had puter for over 3 yrs. done not much more than surf. I decided to start a website. Only been up days. I cant even understand c-panel etc.

So, when I read instructions for formMail and how simple it is to set up, I think they mean for someone who is versed in computers. I found nothing easy about it, read for hours, checked sites, forums, etc. I see now that it is easy to do, but, only after doing it once or twice. I still say someone needs to do something like formMail and other stuff for Dummies==lol.

To many folks on the net, take their skills and understanding for granted and assume it will be easy for first timer. They need to back off of that. I have never laid eyes on programming stuff, no matter how simple. This is the exact reason for starting my site. Folks I talk with say they would start a site if only they thought they could figure it all out.

Anyway here is the Fix or Fixes: ( you're gonna wanna slap me!!!___LOL) There were 2 things I did--maybe only one or both fixed====1) changed "FirstName" to "realname" (notice cap f and n ) ---"Email" to "email" ---"Subject" to "subject" actually changed 3 areas.

I dont know if it was "realname" or the changing of CAPS in first letter of all words. Anyway, it worked right away.. Figure I was looking at it too long--lol. Didnt know what I was looking at anyway---lol

My hats off to www.Interactivetools.com Forum and its members, what a good forum, with fast responses to questions too! I only hope my forum does half as good, and it will be successful.
Thanks
