Hello there, I thought of sharing this great text editor I found few weeks ago, since then I haven't needed to use Front page or Dreamweaver even once! It has amazing features: Auto completion: Works with tags and classes. Syntax highlighting for several languages and you can import and export any language that is not included.Code folding: Fold collapsible text blocks for easier editing. Column mode: Normal editing with columns and more.... ASCII and binary files: The editor handles these as well. Html tag wizards: There are several included for creating tables, frames... Preview: preview the current document, in the editor, using Internet Explorer or Firefox.CSS editor: Is included as well. FTP client: Helps you manage your site and synchronize your local and remote files. Sidebar: With explorers, text clip manager, project manager... Convertion: The editor can convert between code pages, Unicode formats and text formats. Windows, Unix/Linux and Macintosh uses different text format (different line feeds). UTF-8: This format is sometimes used without a BOM to identify the file type. RJ TextEd handles these to. Html validation: Validate, format and repair your html code using wizards. Tools: There are several tools installed like the syntax editor, charmap utility... Customizable: you can add menus and tools you use frequently in the menubar. FREEWARE! I haven't used UltraEdit but only read about it and I think this is almost similar to it, but best of all is that it's FREE!! To see some screenshots check here: http://www.rj-texted.se/screenshots.htm To download check the website here: http://www.rj-texted.se/index.html best wishes, mekaeel

Hi MEKAEEL, Thanks for sharing. I haven't tried it yet but from the screenshots it looks like a nice editor. I use UltraEdit but I'll take RJ TextEd for a test drive later this week. :) Luke Holzken Product Development
