Hello, I have an offtopic question (not related to Interactive TOOLS,) but a programming in general question. I have a clients site that uses PHP and MySQL it is an auto site that lets users open an account, and upload a photo of a vehicle. (AutoBargain.net) The problem I am having is that my HOST runs PHP in SafeMode and doesn't allow access to the "tmp" folder in the root directory. Which is where the pictures go by default. Okay so I feel there should be a way to let users upload photos to a directory within my httpdocs directory which I can change the permissions for. Although I am new with MySQL and PHP I understand the basics, but not enough to know where to look in the code to specify the new location. I have researched this to no avail and have found things that said instead of copy() use move-files...yadda yadds...but within all the code i cannot find a reference to copy(). Any help would be greatly appreciated.... I wish the clients would put up the money for auto manager as I use this now on Used-CarLots.com with great results but the client bought this site pre-packaged with PHP and MySQL.
