some new realty manager options that I would like to see added:
- feature home section which would allow the agent to specify which home(s) will be a feature home to be displayed on the main page of the site automatically.
- open house - similar concept to the feature home section... allows agents to list their open house(s) with a link to that property listing and also give out dates, directions and times etc...
- a way to downsample images - more and more agents are now using higher end digital cameras and they don't really have the access or time to "photomanipulate" their images to be fully optimized for the web... this feature would make all images a similar size (both image size and file size).
there are other things as well, but can't think of them right now. Anyone else have ideas or special features they can think of? Thanks.

A couple of notes, you could actually create a listings field for "Featured Home" and/or "Open House", make it a dropdown with "Yes" or "No" options and then use the search engine to display all the Featured or Open homes. It wouldn't be displayed inline on the frontpage, but you could link it right from the frontpage.
You can specify predetermined searches with the search engine and put them in a link to have users jump directly to the search results pages. For example, if the "Featured Home" field was "lfield24" you might have a "List Featured Homes" link that looked something like this:
search.cgi?search=1&lfield24_match=yes
That basically means, do a search and show all the listings where lfield24 matches "yes".
On resizing images, yes, that's something we REALLY want to have as well. The main issue is it's not something that can really be done in Perl alone, so we'd have to require people have some sort of additional module or program installed on their server to make use of a feature like that. Our general stance has always been that we want to make as few requirements for the software as possible so it will work on the greatest number of servers. We're working on some ideas on how we might do this though, and hopefully will find a feasible solution for a future version.
Being able to publish a list of "Featured" listings is on our feature list.
