Product: Listings Manager I think you should work on making the user interface more user friendly for normal users. For starters I think that listing editor and homepage editor should be more noticable. You should make them buttons rather than just small letters at the top of the screen. When a new user first logs in they are taken to the listing editor screen. I am afraid that most people will enter the info here and will not even think to enter info into the homepage editor unless you (I) hold their hand and walk them through it. It would be nice if it was more custumizable as well (without having to go in and hard code it). Just something like being able to rename the titles listing editor and homepage editor to something more in line to what the product is being used for. This product is very versital and can be used for more than just realestate and car sites so it would be nice to be able to change the titles to match what the site is being used for. JSI

JSI, Thanks for the suggestions. Eventually the product will get a while new UI that will include some friendly icons for the common functions. One thing we try to keep in mind is not just about the experience the user has the first time they use the program, but also every time they come back to it, as well as the administrators who need to be able to sort through layers of options, often very quickly. At one time our interface was completely closed, but by opening them up to HTML editing, it gives you a lot of flexibility in modifying it but there is that first step of hand coding it. I'd like to see us create an interface for changing a lot of the common labels, not just for what you're describing but also to make it easy to translate the software to other languages. At this point they are just ideas, but it's what we'd like to do in the future of the product. Theo Wiersma Project Manager
