I've seen 5 star rating systems after articles on some site. It would be good to have this functionality in listing manager or article manager where you can also sort postings by rating.

Thanks for the suggestion!
In the meantime, if you have a rating script in mind already, you could potentially integrate it with Listings Manager or Article Manager. Since each listing is assigned an article or listing number, there's a unique field that could be used in conjunction with a third party script to perform ratings. Article Manager and Listings Manager both use plain HTML templates to create static pages, so it's usually pretty easy to integrate other scripts.
I'll pass along the suggestion to have it included by default as well. :)

Anyone get anywhere with this?...
I run a used car classifieds and would love to have the dealers get rated (stars) and also allow visitors to give them feedback....
Can you give me a few CRITERIA to look for in a third party script...I understand the flexible nature of LM...But not sure how I am going to get it all to tie together on the publish_listing.html page...
Just some general direction would probably get me on my way, and then I'll share what I come up with here for others to integrate.

Thanks for post!
Myself I am not familiar with many of the rating scripts that are available, a place that you may want to look at is hotscripts.com. Their website is a large directory of all different kinds of scripts that can be used on your website. You might be able to find something that suits your needs there. :)
I would recommend looking for a script that will allow you to tell the script what article it is looking at, allow visitors to place a rating on that particular article (Dealer) and average that rating with other user ratings to display an overall rating value to you website visitors. I would also look for a script that provide you with a small bit of code that you will place on your template files, this code would generate the actual rating star structure that users will see when visitong your website. :)
Something to also consider is that there might be testimonial scripts available that will allow to do all the above and also display brief testimonials that are based on the current dealer your website visitor is looking at, many of these scripts are also designed to only display approved testimonials. :)
