Small Article Manager Request

- Please add settings in the config.ini to allow us to add more rows and columns to the textarea boxes for the user defined fields. Three lines is just too small for efficient on-screen editing of some of the user-defined fields. I'm glad that there are settings for the summary and content boxes! ;-D Thanks, Ken Ken Gary ~It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to paint it!

- make the Article Editor keyword search work on the spare fields...the summary, content and title fields too - provide the filename field as an option for article sort - provide access to the filename field in the templates - spare fields for categories (been mentioned but want to stress the priority) SEPARATE from (in additoin to) the spare fields for articles PS. THANKS for allowing dashes in the filename field! Ken Gary ~It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to paint it!

Hi Ken, Good point about suggesting having settings in the config.ini file for the number of rows and columns for the textarea boxes. On my test site I adjusted the size of the summary and content field but I never thought about having the same option for the other fields. Improved search features on both the article editor search and published article engines for Article Manager are high on our feature request list. A article editor search by writer might be an interesting option too. Glad to hear that you found the option to have dashes in the article file names helpful. Thanks again for your continued feedback. :) Cheers Damon Edis interactivetools.com
