Search ignore tags

I find Search Engine very useful but have one suggestion - I would like to see some method of excluding items like navigation menus or text ads from search results. Perhaps some html tags to wrap these in which tells Search Engine to ignore them. I find that commonly used search terms use the same words in my navigation menus. The result is a complete list of all pages in the order they are listed by directory without regard to where the words appear (title, body, etc.) For example: My site is about Japan and "Tokyo" is a link in the navigation menu of all pages. Searching for "Tokyo" is fruitless since all pages in the site are listed, most having nothing to do with Tokyo. Keep up the great work. Thanks
