"Members-Only" product

I'd love to see a script that made it easy (in the true interactive-tools tradition) to create and manage a members-only area and list of users. Aside from its basic use, it has possibilities for expansion as well. For example: I am a web designer who is about to start using PagePublisher to allow my clients to edit their sites. However I am presented with a prolem - they need to log in twice: once in my own member area and once to access PagePublisher. Ideally, a members-only product could integrate existing interactive-tools products (i.e. PagePublisher) into a larger members area. This way, when a user signed in, they would have access to both PagePublisher and other protected information, like links, announcements, downloads, etc., all from one screen, without having to sign in more than once. Anyway, I realize that is a lot to suggest given that the product doesn't even exist, but I figure you could start small and expand later. Thanks!

Hi mdurand, Thanks for posting and welcome to the forums! Surprisingly, a "Members-Only" product hasn't been requested that much, but I can definatly see the value in the suggestion that you have proposed. I'll be sure to pass your ideas on the development team. If you have any other suggestions or feedback for us, don't hesitate to post again Regards, Cliff Stefanuk - Customer Service Manager support@interactivetools.com

You could look at http://www.membershipclientpro.com I'm using it to protect the forums area of a client's site. Maybe you could use it to protect the publish area. Just a thought. ------* Nancy Article Manager is the ever lovin' bomb!
