Listings Manager - Text field minimum/maximum length

Hi there One of my clients has requested the ability to be able to apply a minimum/maximum field length to the text field in the property manager screen. This would be extremely useful to ensure that the right amount of information was being entered to suit the template. Anyone else interested? Thanks Si

Hi Si, Thanks for the post! The ability to specify a minimum/maximum amount of characters for certain fields or add some error checking features to the interface templates (to check if a certain field has been filled in) is something we've actually had requested before. I'll double check to make sure this is something that has been added to our Feature Request list. When it comes time to upgrade Listings Manager our developers will look at all of the features that have been requested and see which ones are the most worthwhile to add. If you have any other questions or comments feel free to let me know! Cheers, Mike Briggs - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com

Hi Mike, thanks for the info. As an aside, is there any upgrade work planned for Listings Manager? As it is now over a year since any real changes have been made to it. I have a list of about 5 or 6 key things that I really need, as our business is growing and starting to be limited by the functionality available. I believe that these features and others suggested could help maintain Listings Manager as the best on the market. Also, when it does come to the time for Listings Manager, will we get to see what is planned? I love the product and just want to see it continue to get better. :) Cheers Si Turkish Homes

Hi Si, Thanks for your post! :) Currently we're working on integrating mySQL into Article Manager, so while there are many features we too would like to see added to Listings Manager it isn't something we have on our current development schedule. That said, we're always interested to hear what type of feature requests our customers have, so please feel free to submit any of your suggestions and we can make a note of them. As for providing details on what is planned, we do often release beta versions of our software. So if a new features are added to Listings Manager it is likely that we will allow our customers to try them out first through installing a beta version of the product. I hope this helps! :) Luke Holzken Product Development
