Hi IToolerz :)
User Rights Control:
1- need to assign group rights and then assign users to a group.
2- need to assign rights to spare fields (i.e: Features Story) per group.
3- auto password retrival (i.e: forgot password? thingy).
Backup/Restore:
4- Backup Options (data, data+templates, save to path, download, from-to date).
5- Restore Options (upload file, use path).
Move/Prune Jobs:
6- Mass move articles from one category to another older than #date#.
7- Mass delete articles older than #date#.
Extra:
8- Feature article expiry date .. or better yet allow user to stick story for # of days.
9- Email all users.
10- Online Templates Editor.
11- Select Box (multi) everywhere applicable (i.e: Login Account, Article Editor, Category Editor ).
12- Email on Pending article.
13- CUAC .. i mean .. Commonly Used Admin Commands in article footer visible only to admin that is recognised by cookies. (i.e: Modify, Erase, Move).
14- Ability to sort search reults by (relevance, date, and SPAREFIELD).
15- belive or not, i would really love to see more sparefields :)
16- control over the pulldown field where we can select (Options, Values, Selected) and of course we can fill the options ourselves.
17- Ability to create dropdown lists based on spare_fieldN ..
18- and one last thing for future: a language file. everytime i update i have to go and translate.
I know you guys like to listen thats why i am writing.
I also know that if it can be done, you guys will do it .. sooner or later.

Hi MalaK,
First, thanks for the crab game link. The perfect break and at the beach too. :)
Secondly, thanks for well thought out and organized feature request list. We definitely do listen appreciate all the feedback we receive. You made really good points as far as features go which I will relay to our developers.
More spare fields? Really? :) How many were you thinking of? By the way, I tried our your Related Article add on. Very nice tip. I you have more of those tips, please let me know.
"Mass delete articles older than #date#. " - Generally most sites keep older articles around or at least archive them. But if you are looking for a way to delete a large amount of articles, one way to do this currently would be too move all the articles from a category based on a date range into an archive, then delete the archive. The articles would then be deleted.
Keep up the great add-on tips and suggestions.

Thanks for replying and am really glad you enjoyed that game :) (can't belive that ppl actually scored thousands in it, somehow i always get the other crab cornered and it just keeps bouncing the ball non-stop .. what a crab eh?).
Re. Mass Delete: You are so right (as usual) .. thanks for the explanation Damon.
Glad you liked the Relasted Articles tip ... and am trying other stuff that i will post when/if done.
As a matter of fact i am trying to test something but i am haing trouble since i am behind a filtering proxy .. its a Translate Article thingy.
Can i PM you a link just to test it and tell me if it works or not? or anyone else?

Hi,
Sure, PM the link to your "Translate Article thingy" and I can test it for you.
I also just noticed your post for the Who's Online addon (to show the number of Users Currently Online).
Very nice addition. That's going to be next on my to things to try :)
