I saw earlier that some folks wanted the pop-up windows for images in realty manager to be automatically resized to the size of the image...
Here's some code for that:

To get it to work, the script would have to modified were it generates the image links to make them write out the call to the javascript function. (It would also have to write the appropriate javascript in the header of the page as well)
The whole previous/next thing mentioned before is another story however....

Has anyone actually posted this request to the developers because I think it is the one negative point. Viewing images in large windows is not good. Can anyone provide the necessary altered code or should we speak to the developers.

I don't run RM. But if it's anything like AM you would not need to edit any of the code. Only you templates would need to be edited.
