Create Article Form Modification

In order to maximise the screen area for entering an article, I wonder if it would be possible to add a "zoom" button to the toolbars of both the Summary and Content areas. Using Javascript, this would open up a new (large) window which would include the toolbar and the text area with appropriate text. The writer could continue typing in the text area, and when they click "save" or "close" the text is written back to the original textarea in the "Create Article" form. Thanks Dan

Hi Dan, Thanks for your suggestion. With the next version of Article Manager, the built-in WYSIWYG editor will actually have this functionality - it has an "enlarge editor" button which allows you to resize the input window to as large as you wish. But, for the time being, you can always go into your config.ini file (stored in your /exec directory), and change the row values for the content and summary fields. By default they are set to 6, and 18, respectively, but you can make them as large as you wish. Any help? Ben interactivetools.com
