Basic workflow Can't Post

Please add basic workflow to the doc builder product.

This would include a basic routing path for article approval. I want my employees to create articles but want to have a quick say if it should be visable or not.

Also when an acticle is added or modified, I would like an e-mail message to be automatically generated by doc builder to let people know of new or changed articles.

Hi ggurev,

Thanks for posting.

While there are no immediate plans to make an update to DocBuilder (we have a pretty tight development schedule at the momment) I do appreciate the suggestions. I'll be sure to make a note of them in our list of feature requests! If you have any other suggestions please feel free to let me know.

Have you thought about adding an approval button so section editors cannot post unless viewed by an admin or someone with higher rights? Maybe create a new category of users?
I am interested in seeing this in the CMS Buldier.

Hi,

Thanks for the post!

Does this sounds like something that would work for you?

Basically any non-admin users for the specific section that you create this field for will be able to add content which will be set to "Hidden" until an administrator un-hides the record.

I hope this helps! Smile

Wink

That has worked beautifully for me!
Thank you.

Now I need a way to have users request and recover passwords automatically and I'll be able to fulfill the project.

Hi,

I'm glad to hear that this worked for you!

While there isn't anything in CMS Builder that will do this, you may want to email Dave (dave@interactivetools.com) as this may be something he can create a custom script for.

I hope this helps! Smile
