Auto/RealEstate/Product Manager

A nice tool would be a product similar to Auto/RealEstate Manager but the fields would be editable for other types of products. Maybe this already exits in the tool features? I have an industrial tool client who could use this ...

Hey Richard - Actually, Realty Manager and Auto Manager's fields are fully editable for pretty much anything! Each of their 75 database fields can be fully modified for any product whatsoever - and each field can be used to search the database with. (That's my favourite feature :-) So, all considered, you could modify Realty Manager or Auto Manager for other types of products - even industrial tools... Ben interactivetools.com

Yes, exactly. When you change the database field name - your clients will see those field names when inputting their data. What you will need to change is the template which contain the OLD fieldnames: they're hardcoded into the templates, so any changes you make in the interface will have to be manually changed in the html. Wow. Sounds like you guys (interactivetools.com) ought to consider either renaming one of these two products or unveil "Product Manager". Developers using the tool for non-auto and non-realty purposes won't confuse their clients. "Product Manager" sounds more versatile anyway. Just a thought! Brandon
