Article Manager Feature Request: Global Search and Replace

I'd like to be able to do a global search and replace across all of the content in Article Manager. Ken Gary ~It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to paint it!

Hiya Ken Good idea .. but for the time being you migh twant to have a look at this:
Web File Editor 1.16 This script enables you to replace lines of text or html code in a single file or globally throughout a directory, from your browser. It will find and replace whatever line you enter, in the file that you specify. You must know your system path: eg; /home/usr/path/to/your/directory The script then allows you to edit a single file by entering its name in the form eg. - whatever.html (NOTE: If you don't enter a file name, every file in the directory will be edited.) URL: http://www.cgi.veinotte.com/scripts.htm - Its Free. -------------- Sure you can spell it, but do you get it?

Also, you could just download the /data/article.dat file and do a search and replace in any standard text editor program, then upload it again. Be sure to make a backup first though! : ) Dave Edis - Senior Developer interactivetools.com
