Article Manager & List Manager Merge?

I'm building with the Realty Manager, and it would be great if i could use that feature out of Article Manager whereby I can attach documents (especially pfd's!) to the text. Also, the 'printer freindly page' tab would help in RM a lot (saves me having to javascript the same cross browser facility as at present). Can you folk take whatever drives that part of AM and bolt it onto RM? I see from the forum here that a lot of RM users need (as is atypical with Realty websites) a pdf facility built in. The workaround at present involves setting up a pdf folder, recoding the template to accept a URL destination etc. If the end users have to start uploading pdfs via FTP they could get confused, forget to load the pdf, give it the wrong name etc. Just a thought, but it would make RM a lot more end-user friendly, hey, how about the ability to embed media (video etc) like in AM too? If I could fix it for my end user to just click/browse to 'insert media' of their property that would be ideal! Cheers!

Hi Wolf, Now that Article Manager has had it's major overhaul and upgrade to Article Manager 2, Listings Manager will be getting a similar treatment in the future, and a lot of the features you're mentioning are definitely on the plate. However, I wanted to point out that the ability to make a printer-friendly page has always existed in Listings Manager -- take a look at this tutorial for more details. :) http://www.interactivetools.com/products/listingsmanager/tutorials/tutorial_lm_printer_friendly.html Donna

Hi Donna Thanks for the link to the P/F tutorial, it worked very well and enabled me to scale it right to how the client wanted it. Glad to hear about the additions to LM also. Cheers ~ Wolf-E
