Article Manager: 'Top Story' for # of days

A nice feature would be the ability to make a story a Top Story for a certain number of days. I know a story can be marked to be listed at the top of the index page or the category page, but you have to physically remove that when you no longer want it as a top story...and when you're dealing with many stories a day, you can lose track of which stories are still marked as a "Top Story" if they have scrolled outside of your "# of stories" limit. So, perhaps a general setting of a # of days for a top story to stay a top story before it is changed to a regular story in the Setup Options, or perhaps as an option with each story? Bryan Gilchrist

Hi Bryan, Thanks for your feature request! :) I'll make a note of this in our list of feature requests. We've had a couple of requests for queued publishing (where an article is published at a certain date, and then removed a few days later), and this would be an extension of that. Users could choose for an article to be featured, and the unfeatured a few days later. If you have any other feature requests or suggestions please let me know. :) Luke Holzken Product Development
