And what about a good directory of links?

As a happy user of AM, I have one suggestion for a future product which Interactive Tools should be able to develop quite easily, due to its experience with a variety of softwares: a good, simple, robust, reliable link manager. It should be highly adjustable to the needs of each customer, through a variety options (e.g.: some users will want to allow visitors to rate links, other won't; etc.). True, there are quite a few such products on the market now... I have tested some of them, I have not been completely convinced by any of them. For that reason, I have postponed the development of a strong links section on my main website. If Interactive Tools doesn't have any project on that line, I may finally choose Gossamer's Links - but if Interactive Tools has some project on that line, I may be tempted to wait until you have one on the market, since I have now been able to appreciate how good your products are and how excellent your support is!

Nice idea. It could do a whole thwack of link-related tasks from basic link management, to dynamic link validation, to link rating. Hmm... this sounds extremely interesting. Thanks very much for the suggestion! I'll pass it along. Ben interactivetools.com

I would like to second the motion for a Links Manager from InteractiveTools. One of the features I would like to see that is lacking from all others on the market, is the ability to enter a full tracking link for the URL instead of just an 'http://' address. Many of the links I need to enter in my links directory are affiliate links from networks like CommissionJunction, LinkShare, etc., that require more than just a URL for proper tracking. You are given the full html code that must be used which often includes an image tag. It would also be nice to be able to set expiry dates for time-sensitive links, for example, if you have a special offer in the links directory, to be able to feature it while it is relevant but then let it expire on its own when it is no longer valid (similar to what is planned for article expiration dates on AM 2.0).
