Allow Articles to be displayed and deleted by dates

The last time we discussed this was back in March or so. I have been asking if you were going to put in a publish date and stop publishing date. So that articles would be displayed or deleted (archieved) through dates on the article. I haven't heard anything so I am asking again if you have any plans to do this? Thanks Ed

Hi Ed, Thanks for checking in. :-) We certainly recognise the value of adding such a feature to Article Manager (and many of our other products), but at this time there are no immediate plans to add this. Ultimately, I have no doubt we will add it to Article Manager, but it is a very big job and I wouldn't expect it any time soon. However, since March we have added other high-demand functionality such as email notifications, custom publish directories and (in the current Article Manager Beta) an SSI Parser which allows you to parse SSIs from within dynamic pages, like the search.cgi script. (See the Article Manager changelog for a complete list). So we are listening! And we really appreciate the product requests - that helps us determine functionality is needed the most. Thanks, Ed. Allow more than three sort sequences. With that we could sort by more fields (well, duh) and make it easier to spot items that we might want to 'hide' for a while.
