Adding data from external script Can't Post

Hi!

Is it possible to add data to a CMS Builder site from another php based script?

I guess we could do this using PHP/MySQL commands, but we would like this to be easy and supported by Interactivetools.

Any chance this could be done?

Hi.

Thanks for posting!

This is probably something we could do a custom script for you. Would you mind sending me an email (sales@interactivetools.com) that details the requirements? Be as exact as possible. From there, we can go over the options and setup a quote.

How does that sound? I look forward to hearing from you Smile.

Hi Ross!

If this was needed for a sepcific reason on a website we were creating for a customer, it would be no problem paying for a custom feature. But this was just an idea for a general feature that we could use for future projects.

Sometimes a customer already have a script that creates some kind of output or we create a script to solve something, it would then be nice to know that we can route this output into a predefined table inside CMSB and then use only CMSB to take care of our HTML output.

We don't need such a feature right away but it would be a great addition to future versions of CMSB.

Found these related threads, so there seems to be more users wanting this:
