AM Syndication Tool - Keywords and Categories

Hi IT! I was recently discussing an issue with a vendor and they stated that they use "clipping" services to generate links back to them to monitor news and stories relative to a specific client, a specific product or a specific industry. What flashed through my head then was that if the syndicator had the ability to create a custom feed based upon specific keywords, key phrases, etc... it would take care of many PR firms that assist companies throughout the world. For example: I could create a special feed on General Motors or Chevrolet or even Corvette based upon using those keyword/keyword phrases. It seems to me that this could be a nice feature and assist in creating an income stream as well for websites. NOTE: This should be a password protected newsfeed page that is controlable by the admin (as per access). This could also be a seperate newsfeed page than the category newsfeed that currently exists. Just a thought! Brian

Hi Brian, Let me see if I understand correctly: You would like to see the syndicator create a custom webfeed based upon keywords or phrases you entered. Then the latest 5 articles, for example, that matched the keywords/phrases would be displayed in the webfeed. That sounds pretty good. If I'm on not quite on track with what you had in mind, let me know so I can have your idea added correctly as a Feature Request. :) Cheers Damon Edis interactivetools.com

You got it Damon! Just the same as the current syndicator but instead of or in addition to selecting a category add a keyword/keyphrase input seperated by commas for more than one key item. Thanks! Brian
