AM Plugins and Addons Feature Can't Post

OK!... "Thinks" are starting to move and come into the open!

Although this may be considered a request for new features, I would just like to drop an idea here... (forum manager/s feel free to move it elsewhere if you feel like)...

Can you ITools people consider devising a scheme for AM plugins and addons!?

The reason I am bringing this up is that AM is a great tool, is turning into an even etter tool, but it could just be truly UNIQUE if you guys would let it go the comunity way al he way!

I am not a programmer, and have been pulling my hair out for a looong time, abd spending money in other tools, trying to get a few things to work in AM... IOn comes Mike, from AMSCRIPTS, starts fiddling with a couple of ideas, and the GoForum gets ressussitated, and the Text2Link resolves my almost 3 years deadend for including some glossary functinality into AM...

If anyone is wondering about AMSCRIPTS, let me just suggest you go for it!... Help yourself by supporting AMSCRIPTS and we will forever have GoForum updated, etc.

Truth is, ITools offers one of the bst deals EVER and ANYWHERE!... But you guys can't do it all... the community is unique; there are guys here (like Mike!) who COULD bring even more into AM!... All that would be needed, would be a scheme and some logic, and let people develop plugins and add-ons for AM!... A subfolder plugs, then diferent subfolders for wach plugin and addon, and some sort of enabler code... and we would be dreaming it all the way to the stars!...

The possibilities with the templates, unlimited custom fields, user definable placeholders, etc., are gonna shoot AM way, way up!... now, let the community really join in the fun and make it even better!...

Possible? (Hope we won't have to wait for AM 3.0 for this...)

Best to you all and keep up the good working... and pat yourself in the back!... you just made my life HELL Mad (waiting for the Fall release of AM 2.0 is gonna be something to look forward to but.. MAN!... gonna be braking into sweats and getting rashes all over waiting for it!... Frown hargh!........

Hi joa1,

Thank you for your post! :)

A plugins feature is in our list of feature requests, but with the release of Article Manager 2.0 we are focusing on the features listed in the original post.

Glad to hear you're looking forward to Article Manager 2. If you have any other suggestions send them my way! :)
