AM - suggestion FILE ATTACHMENTS

I know this was discussed in a post and you guys suggesed a way around this but i definatly think this should be a basic feature. 1. When posting an article we should have the option to be able to attach a file with the article. Along with this when attaching the file we would have an option to choose what kind of file it is eg: pdf, doc. Here is the good part, once i choose my file type it then creates the link with the proper text like "download/view PDF file" and with the pdf logo next to the link! thats cool. * this should also work the same way when just uploading a file. hope to see this. Hi Denny, Thanks for the post! As you had mentioned there is a work around for adding PDF files and you could have it set up to work very similar to the way you had described. I'd suggest taking a look at Ross' post where he outlines how you can tell Article Manager to treat uploaded images with a caption like regular images and images without a caption like PDF files. You can take a look at this post here: http://www.interactivetools.com/forum/gforum.cgi?post=36903#36903 This method allows you to upload a PDF file and link to it from wherever you'd like in your summary or content. I can understand that you'd prefer to have an "Upload PDF" option as a standard feature for Article Manager so I'll be sure that this suggestion is on our Feature Request list to consider for future upgrades of Article Manager. If you have any questions you can feel free to let me know! Cheers, Mike Briggs - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
