**Am suggestion** placeholder for catagory

Hello...... As always I just have to say thank you to you for such a brilliant piece of software (Article manager) May I suggest a feature? Excuse me if it has already been suggested... I run 20 odd catagories and as I want to have a paragraph or 2 of text that is just for that catagory index page I have to create a seperate catagory index template for each. Now if Article manager was to give me a placeholder or 2 for each catagory then I would not need to have all those templates. I know that I could do it by placing the text onto a graphic and use the catagory image feature (I think) but I need it to be text for those hungry spiders. Maybe there is a way around it that I have not discovered as yet Thanks Kind Regards George

Hi Tipking, Thanks for the feature request! :) So similar to how you can create new article fields and placeholders, you would like to also create new category fields and placeholders. For example in your case the ability to create a new Paragraph field where, when creating/modifying a category, you could enter in a description about the category and have it output on the category's index page. I like the idea of having control over category fields and I'll make a note of it. Other than the two suggestions you made (a category image, unique template for each category) those would be my two suggestions for providing descriptive text about each category as well. So unfortunately I can't think of an easier way to do it. If you have any other feature suggestions please feel free to let us know! Luke Holzken Product Development
