Internal Server Error?

Hello everyone, I'm a new graphic/web designer at a small company who uses Article Manager 1 as their content management system. It has served us great up until recently, when we started getting "Internal Server Errors". Our IT department claims it has nothing to do with the restrictions they place on our network, our web hosting company claims it has nothing to do with the servers the data is stored on. The errors occur no matter where I am physically (say, at work or at home). Does anyone know how to fix this, who I should talk to (IT department, web hosting company, Interactive tools staff)?

Hi there! Well, it won't be your IT department, as that's an error coming back from the server. However, that is unfortunately a very vague server error, so doesn't give us a lot to go on. :) First thing I'd check would be your permissions. Take a look at the installation documentation and make sure everything matches up. Next, try re-uploading the .cgi files in your /exec/ directory (note: These files only! Don't overwrite everything!) Finally, see if you can run *any* CGI script, or if it's just this one that's having trouble. If you'd like us to take a look at it for you, feel free to fill in a support request here: https://www.interactivetools.com/support/email_support.cgi We'd be happy to pop in and see what's going on. :) Donna
