I've just upgraded to the latest version (from 1.05) for WashingtonDispatch.com and the changes are great. One thing that I would like to do is create different index formatting for the featured article. Basically I want to run the featured article on top in bold or larger text, then be able to pop in a banner ad underneath, then list the normal index. It would appear something like the following: FEATURED HEADLINE [banner ad] Index Headlines. . . Any ideas would be appreciated.

Here are some ideas on implementing special behavior for feature articles: 1. Take a look at this thread for some ideas on customizing the display of text based on the value of a certain field (for featured articles it would be $art_field20$) http://www.interactivetools.com/forum/forum.cgi?post=1350 2. Create a featured article category. Add a featured article to that category and check the featured article checkbox to have it appear at the top of the article list. The banner add could be added in a spare field. When the article is no longer featured just uncheck the featured article checkbox and clear the banner ad field. 3. Same method as above except only display one article one your main index page /Dave Lo
