Article submissions without Login?

Hi, Is there a way to setup an online form for visitors to submit an article (like a normal writer does) that will input into Article Manager admin directly without having to login? So then an editor or an Admin person can login and edit or approve the article. Kind regards, Shenouda

Hi, What you could do is try adding a link to your site to automatically log in your visitors as writers. The link would look something like this: http://www.yoursite.com/artman/exec/admin.cgi?id=userID&pw=password&login=1 When you create the "Writer" account that will be used by your site visitors, replace the userID and password in the login URL with ones that you assign in the Setup Options under the Login Accounts tab. Now site visitors can click the link and go directly to the create article screen in Article Manager without going to the login screen. After they add their article content and click save, the article will be submitted for approval of the editor or Admin. One more thought: you may want to change the Logoff URL (under Setup Options > Server) to a main page on your site so that when the site visitors has submitted their article, they can click Logoff and be taken back to that page. Let me know if you have any other questions. Cheers Damon Edis interactivetools.com
