That would actually fall under the realm of custom programming, which isn't covered by our Priority Consulting service. Since we've got a very tight programming schedule right now, we're not able to take on any additional custom programming at the moment.

Thanks for the forum post  .
As this forum post states, for some reason 1.3 isn't backwards compatible so goforum.cgi script won't work.
As for custom programming, currently our development team's on a tight budget and deadline and we simply don't have the resources to take on custom programming at this point. If anyone here wants to take a shot at making one, feel free and see what we can do.

Steve. Never have been able to get this to work on 1.3. However it looks like version 2.0 of invision board is not to far down the line so I would hold off if you plan on upgrading. The new 2.0 will use the Converge system for log in and would be different from the script should you get it to work.

And thanks Ginslinger. I've been waiting for v2 for some time now and I've had to stop holding my breath!
I'd better head off to the IPB site and find out a bit more about what Converge entails. Thanks for mentioning it!

There is a site called ScriptLance.com. Basically it is a site where you post a programming job that you need done and programmers bid on it. It might be worth looking into for the collective that wants to use the newest version of Invision.
