I am looking for an add-on that would let readers comment on an article and it could be reviewed and then posted/appened to the article. Does this add-on exist?

Hi John,
One method to allow users to comment on articles would to be add an mail form to the end of each article by editing the article template. Then users could submit their comments which you would receive via email. The comments could then be approved/edited and added beneath the article as reader comments.

Here is a post and thread that discusses this: http://www.interactivetools.com/forum/forum.cgi?post=479 I have found a perfect solution for this request. I have been using a recommend my site program for a few years. It is a free program at http://www.bignosebird.com/cgi.shtml It is called: BIRDCAST Site Reader Recommendation Script I highly recommend it as it is very simply to implement and very easy to customize. It already adds the URL of the page in the e-mail and a text area box for the comment. You can make the text area box larger if you'd like. It runs on Unix and Windows and uses SMTP or sendmail. And....it's FREE! You can see my implementation at my little article site at: http://www.lookwww.com/artman/publish/ I will be wrapping up a review of Article Manager next week! Thanks for a wonderful piece of software. John Cesta
