Trouble Installing - Access Forbidden? Can't Post

Hello,

I am attempting to install PP at www2.umaine.edu/StudentGovernment.

However, even upon uploading all of the files, and setting the permissions, I received an error message saying:

Access Forbidden!

You don't have permission to access the requested object.

Can someone help?

Best,
Derek

Hi Derek,

I followed up with you on this through an email earlier, but I thought I'd post my suggestions in case anyone else experiences this problem:

If you have a web hosting control panel, check to make sure that Perl/CGI scripts are enabled. Also, if your server has a /cgi-bin directory try running the script from there - many servers won't allow scripts to be executed from outside this directory.
