Passwords Can't Post

At the moment my Page Publisher allows me the admin to access the admin area and another person with their own password to accesss this area for editing etc. When are we getting the system where multiple passwords will be available so everyone can have their own password to access their own document.

Re: [james] Passwords [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi Mike,

Although adding multiple password options for Page Publisher is something we have on our list and we would like to have done, it is not planned for an upgrade in the immediate future.

Re: [Damon] Passwords [In reply to] Can't Post

Damon

2 weeks ago I had a deadline of tomorrow to create my own code that would allow our agents to have their own interactive webpage. After dealing with all kinds of solutions (PHP/SQL, applets, even..gak.. FrontPage) only to discover that it will still take me another 2 weeks to finish coding all of the related php pages, password validations and so forth, I found interactivetools via ZDNet.

I installed PP and created my first template within about 10 minutes. I love this software!

Now, however, I realize that I have over 30 agents and only one user login. I have to show my results to my supervisor tomorrow and will have to limit it to one agent. I may have to go back and finish those PHP pages after all.

PP is a great tool and I recommend it to anyone who wants client interactivity, but for a larger corporate web (we get over 100,000 hits per day!) it is not an end solution. It would indeed be made greater by addressing the mid-to-large corporate multi-users' needs.
