Password protected directories Can't Post

Hi:
I have had PagePublisher in use for some time. The client now wants me to create a set of 5 unique pages each with their own separate user login. No problem. But they want each one to be also only password accessable for viewing by their users. I would normally do that in my cpanel with .htaccess as they only need one password per directory. But I strongly suspect that that will screw up the use of PP. To clarify, the visitor would need a password to view. I imagine the owner of the page would have to enter that password first then enter their PP login? I'm having a hard time picturing exactly how this would work. Am I making it too complicated? Or is it not even possible? Or is there a simlier way to achieve this?

Thanks,
Sheila

Hi Sheila,

Thanks for your post. :)

Using an .htaccess will work fine. Since Page Publisher accesses the files directly on the server, an .htaccess does not interfere. The only place it would pop up is when they actually wanted to view the finished product. :)
