Page Publisher Error Messages? Can't Post

Hi,

Tried to log into my page publisher tonight and it gave me this message Error : filelock error opening exclusive file lock /pp/data/filelock.lock: Permission denied

can someone let me know what this means?

Hi Rawdog156,

Thanks for your post!

That file is used by Page Publisher to prevent two users from modifying the same file at the same time. This is done so that files do not get corrupted by simultaneous modifications. Sometimes this file can get 'stuck' on a server, and usually the problem can be resolved by simply erasing that file. The software will automatically re-create it, so you don't have to worry about damaging anything.
