Page Publisher & Templates & More Can't Post

So is there a real advantage to using PP in conjunction with templates? Simply because of the instant updating? Is there any difficulties in inserting PP code in a template's code?

Maybe I just someone to steer me to what I really need. I will have a lot of static content, but also a lot of news that will need to be updated often and archived. So I'm looking at Article Manager, of course. If I got that, would there still be any real benefit to having PP? Can Article Manager do everything that PP can and more? Or do the two complement each other?

TIA

Hi there

Thanks for posting!

Page Publisher and Article Manger can actually work together on the same server and would even compliment each other. What I have found in the past is that Article Manager would handle all the dynamic article content and archives and Page Publisher would handle updating the different includes that are used on the site. For example you could use Page Publisher to update the banner add on the top of each page and Article Manager to update the article that appears on that page.

To begin with though, you may want to just start out with Article Manager as it can be uses for just about everything that Page Publisher can do. Once you have a better idea of how much Article Manager can do, you can decide to add in Page Publisher as well.

How does that sound? If you wanted anymore examples or details, just let me know Smile.
