Page Publisher & Article Manager Can't Post
Hello folks

I'm new here and like both of these products very much, but am a little bit confused as to the use of these. For example, in which case would a webmaster need to use AM instead of PP and vice versa. From what I understand so far, they're very similar in functions. In the case of PP, you use it to create a page, say, product page. And Article manager is used to create articles WITHIN a page. In essence, you can use either product to do the same thing. Do I understand it correctly?

Last but not least, how easy is it to integrate either product into the current structure of the site.

Hi Trader.

Thanks for posting and welcome to the board!

There is one main difference between Article Manager and Page Publisher and that should make it easier to decide which one to use.

Page Publisher lets you take an existing static page and edit the content on it. So basically, you have already created the page and set its template up, then Page Publisher will make it extremely easy to update the content afterwards.

Article Manager lets you create whole new pages based off a set of templates. You can then come back and edit the content in these articles afterwards. Of course, it also comes with quite a few organization features like a category editor, a search engine and the ability to publish files to different places with different names.

So the way you decide which one is to ask: do I need to be creating whole new pages? Or am I going to be sticking with the (10) that I have right now?

If you need to be creating whole new pages, then Article Manager is going to be better for you.
