Cookie weirdness Can't Post
Having a problem with the "must have cookies enabled" warning coming up on Page Publisher.

All our machines (identikit IT-approved/sanctified IE6 builds) allow cookies, but some machines like using Page Publisher and others hate it. Deleting old cookies and adding the server to a safelist doesn't seem to work. Others seem to work on different days.

Why would some machines hate PP and others be quite happy with it?

Thanks for your post!

Cookie problems with Page Publisher are generally caused by one of the following:

- The time is set incorrectly on the machine accessing Page Publisher

- Anti-virus software is interfering with Page Publisher's cookies

- The web server's time is set incorrectly

- Security settings for Internet Explorer or other browsers are not allowing Page Publisher's cookies to be stored or function properly

I'd recommend going through that list to see if any one of these things could be the cause of the problem - one of the causes mentioned above are responsible the vast majority of the time. Smile

I am having this problem too. I just started out of the blue. One day I was able to login and the next I was not. I have disabled virus protection, my local machine time is fine, and my browser(s are set to accept cookies. I guess that leaves the web server. But how do I ck that?

Update, it's my machine. I was able to login from another machine. Gack. I have no idea what the problem could be.

AHA! I was using an old link from a log-off screen.

Solution - make sure there's nothing in the url after pp.cgi.
