Client-editable scroller Can't Post

Everyone,

Seeing Donna's article about a scroller in Article Manager prompts me to share something I just completed. My client wanted a news scroller that they could edit themselves, and I had no idea how to do this using PP to edit inside a JS routine. I found a scroller routine on Dynamic Drive that uses Iframes and an external html file as its text source.

http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex2/iframe-scroller.htm

I built the page with the scroller, then added 'publish' tags to the external source file and gave the client edit access to that page. Works like a charm! If you want to see the end result, it is here:

And, to finish up, here is an unsolicited testimonial. Between the JS available on DD, and the programs from Interactive, I can do practically anything a client wants or needs. Thanks for all your help.

Thank you, Donna. Does this mean I can collect royalties? Tongue
