Top 5 News Items on homepage Can't Post

I'd like to post the top 5 news items on our company's home page.

I'm hoping to structure the site like this:

Home Page--->Last 5 News Releases

|

|

-------News Page---->Everything else

How can I make this possible?

Re: [Taco John] Top 5 News Items on homepage [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi,

Thanks for the post!

Pulling in the latest submission from News Manager isn't something that it's setup to do right now.

I know that some users have taken the index page and stripped it down so that they can include it through out the website, but even that will show all of the items in the system.

If you are looking for a little more flexibility with how you can display the news items, it may be worthwhile to take a look at Article Manager which has a lot more options when it comes to publishing files.

I hope that helps explain, but let me know if you need any more details.
