Hi Thanks for posting and welcome to the board! It is actually possible to change the news_ prefix to something else if you like. All you need to do is log into News Manager, go to the Setup Options and there will be a textbox labeled “Default base filename “. Once you change it, you’ll need to republish your articles. One thing to keep in mind though is that all the filenames will need to be the same so it’s either all dept_ or news_, etc. In regards to the article numbers, these are set but News Manager itself and won’t be reused. If you create articles1 to 10 and then delete them, the next article will still be number 11. Once you have deleted a article from you list, you’ll need to re-create it again if you want it back in the system. I hope this helps. Just let me know if you have anymore questions ,. ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Ross Fairbairn - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com Hire me!
