Categories on another page Can't Post
Hi Folks

Job Manager Program
Is there a way of putting a list of categories on to another page as well as having it on _index.html too

I want the homepage to list categories on the right, http://www.wiserecruitment.ie and each category to link to the jobs in that specific category, http://www.wiserecruitment.ie/vacancies/publish/index.html

Is that possible or do i have to buy another edition of Job Manager???

Hi Stephen.

Thanks for posting and welcome to the board!

The category list Job Manager uses is only setup to be displayed on the index page so what I am thinking is that you could take the code from that page and paste it onto the other page you wanted it to appear on.

The only thing here is that if you change the category list Job Manager you would need to update the other page as well. If you don’t see yourself making changes to the category list that often, I think this would work really well for you.

I found your info very helpful, just one other question.
Is it possible to make another page for the job listings (Index.html)

basically what im trying to say is the page http://www.wiserecruitment.ie/vacancies/publish/index.html

is too long and i would like it to go to another which would show the rest of the job listings

Any help on this would be great mate

Thanks for getting back to me Smile.

Job Manager is actually setup to list all its jobs on one main index page, however, you can easily hide or delete listings that are no longer available so they are no long in the list.

Another option would be to have a look at Listings Manager which could handle everything Job Manager does, as well as giving you the option to paginate the listings. For example, you could have Listings Manager display your listings 10 at a time. The categories work a little different in Listings Manager, however, we are here to help every step of the way so that is something I can show you in more detail once you get going.
