Suggestions for scripts to help with real estate web site. Can't Post

I'm looking to set up a real estate site with Realty Manager and I wonder if anyone can suggest any scripts for the following two scenarios:
  1. My client (website owner) wishes to receive the information from prospective advertisers via email and then he will input the information into RM. Therefore, I need a form script that will send the desired information via email with the facility to send attachments too. The attachments will be the property images.
  2. Secondly, how do I integrate a contact form into the site so that email is sent directly to the person advertising the property as opposed to my client, the web site owner. We want to avoid posting email addresses directly onto the web pages because of spam issues.

Hi Annie,

Thanks for your email. :)

For #1, you'd want to use an external script for that. There are a ton of free "form mail" scripts available that will do exactly what you're looking for. Try Googling for "formmail" and see what you come up with. :)

For #2, this would use another formmail script. In this case, you could have the email address output into a hidden field so that it doesn't appear on the website itself.

Would that work for you? Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. :)

Hi Donna,

Thanks for the reply. I managed to find a script for the first question. I was wondering whether any members had found a script to come up with the second solution. I'm not sure how I'd set this up or what script might be suitable. I guess I'll have to play around with a few.

Cheers, Annie
