RE: Signup file Can't Post

Hi Guys

This is my first post so please bear with me if this has already been dealt with in the past.

I want to know if anyone has a Forgot password solution?

Also when someone signs up, can they always be validated so users can immediately post a listing online?

Cheers

thanks for your help!

Hi surfpacific.

Thanks for posting and welcome the board!

I haven’t actually heard of a password recovery addon for Listings Manager, but if anyone else has, it would be great to hear some details about it.

As part of the setup for the Signup script you have the option of letting newly created users start posting listings right away or having their accounts disabled until a super user validates them.

Does this help? Let me know if you have anymore question Smile.

Hi Oliver.

Thanks for posting again!

The file that gets setting is in will be the signup.ini file. Look forward this line:

disable_account_login = 1

And change it to read:

disable_account_login = 0

That should do it. Let me know how you make out Smile.

Hi David

Thank you for that information!

I looked at the post and the script seems to be exactly what I am looking for - I could not find the script attached to the post. Do you have any idea where I can locate this?
