Take a listing off temporarily Can't Post

Is there a way to remove a listing from the search for a while? ie take it off, then put it back on without entering it all over again if the sale fails?

I could devise one by making a Display(Yes,No) dropdown and making searches only suceed by default if it is yes, but I thought there must be a built-in way?

Hi again Mervyn,

There is no built in automatic feature to turn a listing display from visible to non-visible and then back again.

Your idea sounds like it would work great. Create a listing field with a Display (Yes,No) dropdown. Then have the search engine only return results with the Display option of Yes, using a hidden field.

Another variation is to have a listing field that is named Status and have dropdown options of (Available, SOLD). The search engine could be set up not display listings with the SOLD status.
