Search Engine - change ??? Can't Post

HI --------

Does the Search Engine narrow down the results as choices are made within same form or does each choices' search results show together on same search results page.

What if there are checkboxes where more than one item is checked within one category - does each need own field?

Will this =

<input name="listing_num" type="text" id="listing_num" value="" size="20" maxlength="20" />
<input type="submit" name="listingid" value="Submit" />

---bring up the listing page for listing number typed in?

Hi Melinda,

Thanks for your email. :)

Yes, if you're planning on searching your checkboxes, you'll want to have each one in its own field (generally set as "yes,no")

To search for a specific listing, try this:

<input name="view" type="text" value="" size="20" maxlength="20" />
<input type="submit" value="Submit" />

Give that a try and let me know if that works for you. :)
