Move to Subdomain / 403 Errors Can't Post

Hello,

i try to move a website to a new server (domain-name will stay the same). For testing reasons i uploaded all files to a subdomain of my existing site.

I read all postings in this forum and double checked all permissons but still cant execute admin.cgi, getting 403 error.

I tried to move the site like posted by MikeB: http://www.interactivetools.com/iforum/gforum.cgi?post=62652;search_string=will%20be%20moving%20to%20a%20new%20server;t=search_engine#62652

Nothing worked. Could you please help me?

Thanks, Daniel

Re: [elviz] Move to Subdomain / 403 Errors [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi there,

Moving to a sub-domain shouldn't be any different from moving to any other address. Main thing you should check there is the permissions of the actual folders you're in -- so, the /listman/ folder, the /exec/ folder, etc. They should be 755.

If you're still having trouble, feel free to fill in a support request and we can take a look. :)
