Invalid template name: _search_query.html Can't Post

Invalid template name: _search_query.html and Invalid template name: _search_results.html

I know this has already been covered in a few posts but my files are all where they're supposed to be.

I'm not the original web developer of the site, this is a new client who wants to move his site to a new serve.
I ftp'd all the files and directory structure from the original functioning site to the new host. I've got PERL running and permissions updated. He's running version 2.2.

Everything works in the Admin area like Add/Edit Users, Uploading photos etc... The front end displays the users fine.

It's just when we go to any exec/search.cgi for featured listings page display and try to view individual property listings also using search.cgi.

Any Ideas?
Thanks for any help on this.

Hi klynch,

Well, that definitely just means that the program can't find the templates.

A couple of things to check is the permissions on the templates directory. Also, doublecheck that they're in the right place -- and make sure that in the setup options, the path to your templates matches as well.

If you're still having trouble... try filling out a support request and we can take a look. :)

The file is there, I see it on the server and in my ftp.

We were never provided the install file and could only ftp transfer the site to the new server so maybe there is something else we are missing?

Would you be able to provide us with an install file if we can give you proper ownership documentation.

I'm hoping if we start with a fresh install maybe that would fix the issue or help us better troubleshoot where the error is really happening.

thank you.

Hi there,

The only reason you'd be getting that particular error message is if for whatever reason, Listings Manager couldn't see the file. Your installation will be fine if you're getting that message.

Usually, this is if it isn't actually there. :) If it is, then there's something else going on, but we'd have to take a look most likely -- if you can fill out the support request form I mentioned, we can definitely take a look.

You can also always download the full script here:
