Install problem - Windows 2003 Can't Post

I am trying to setup Listman on a Windows2003 server. When I try to run install.cgi, I get the HTTP500 error. If I rename install.cgi to install.pl, then the install will run up to the point that it asks me to select the type of install (Real Estate) at which point I receive the "Template:Template cell 'dir_noexist' is not defined!" error. Some posts suggest that this is the point that Admin.cgi is called, so I renamed Admin.cgi to Admin.pl with no success. (Admin.pl will run by itself, but says that install.cgi must be run first). If install is trying to invoke admin.cgi is there a way to change this to admin.pl, or is this a different problem? Thanks.

Hi there,

You'll definitely want to rename all of the .cgi files in the /exec/ directory to .pl, if that's the only way the install will run. However, that'll be unrelated to the error you're having regarding the type of installation.

For that, I'd doublecheck your templates directory. Can you make sure that in the templates directory, you have four other directories? They should be _auto, _realty, _generic & interface. You may want to re-upload those just to make sure all of the files are present.
